ROYAL BRITISH LEGION WOMENS SECTION: Our Meeting on Tuesday August 16th was “An Inspector Calls” by Neil Sadler, we were the very first group to hear his latest talk, which drew on the curious, poignant and sometimes downright funny things he has been told while giving his talks about his 30 years as a police officer. We all thoroughly enjoyed the talk and were able to give Neil feedback at the end, all good!

Chairman Sarah Voce brought members up to date with the latest news from the National Secretary and gave out forms for members to re-new their membership of the RBL Women’s Section as the Burgess Hill Branch will continue until October 2017, even though the Sussex County will close on 31st October this year.

The next Bingo Session will be on Wednesday 21st September

Our meeting on October 18th will be our last Annual General Meeting. We are going to start the evening with Fish & chips and Evelyn will be collecting the money at the September meeting. The AGM will start at 20.15.

For those going to the Festival of Remembrance the remainder of the coach fare of £10 needs to be paid at the September meeting
