Families and service users are being reassured by the county council after a consultation into the future of Burnside Day Centre, in Burgess Hill.
Peter Catchpole, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health, said the consultation showed West Sussex County Council ‘how important’ the day service is to users.
He said: “We are currently considering all the responses received. Over the next few months we will be working with the centre’s users so they continue to be involved in the future of the service.”
The centre caters for people with learning disabilities and at the time of the consultation, had 57 users.
