The HHDBA is calling all members and potential members to come to a buffet meeting, kindly hosted by The Birch Hotel in Haywards Heath, to be part of the Association’s future plans for growing the local economy and helping to put the area on the map.

The meeting will elect the officers and committee for the coming year and the Association is keen to hear from its members.

Are you interested in getting more involved?

“We would like to hear from any volunteers willing to sit on the committee, or to become a member of one of our four task groups,” said chair Maureen Scholefield.

“These groups achieve a huge amount for the Association – The Connect group helps to recruit members; The Communicate group helps to promote the Association, The Develop group helps to plan our programmes and the Grow group considers the best ways of sharing knowledge to expand your business.”

Maureen is encouraging as many people as possible to come along and join in the plans for success.

“We have innate energy, skills and entrepreneurial spirit; combine this with the local advantage of a transport hub and good infrastructure and it means our ambitions of making this area the best place to live and work can be achieved.”

The event takes place at The Birch Hotel, Lewes Road, Haywards Heath, on Monday April 28 between 6pm and 8pm,
