Celebrate crime reading month at Burgess Hill Library

Residents have been invited to celebrate crime reading month in Burgess Hill with author Peter Lovesey.

This Burgess Hill Festival and Crime Reading Month event is being hosted by Burgess Hill Library.

Peter Lovesey is the author of 35 crime novels and numerous short stories. His work has been adapted for radio, TV and film.

In 2000 he was awarded the Cartier Diamond dagger by the Crime Writers’ Association.

His latest novel is the Stone Wife and features Bath detective Peter Diamond in pursuit of a murderer after a theft at an auction house goes wrong.

The evening will take place on Monday June 9 at Burgess Hill Library. Tickets are £3 and available from Martlets Hall Box Office on: 01444 242888.
