Burgess Hill sexual assault case goes to Crown Court

A man has appeared in court for two alleged sexual assaults on women in Burgess Hill.

Taxi driver Abdul Majid Karim, 32, of Holyrood Place, Crawley has also been charged with the theft of an i-phone.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (January 15).

Deputy District Judge Easterman released him on unconditional bail.

He is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on February 13.
