Police in Haywards Heath believe a recent burglary in the town may be linked to other break-ins in recent weeks.

Thieves smashed a rear patio door and stole jewellery from a house in Bluntswood Road between 10.30am on Sunday February 21 and 11am on Thursday February 25.

Detective constable Gavin Percival said: “This offence may form part of a small series of burglaries that have occurred in the past few weeks.

“I would ask everyone to be extra vigilant and if you have seen or heard anything about this offence, or any other, please do not hesitate to contact me.”
