The following are results from Sussex (Northern) Magistrates’ Court sitting at Crawley and Horsham:

Luke Edwards, 26, of Mill Road, Burgess Hill, was fined £80, with a £20 victim surcharge, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis, and breaching a conditional discharge.

Ross Stoner, 25, of St Peters Road, Burgess Hill, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, and £150 costs. He had pleaded guilty to threatening to cause criminal damage to a car.

Odile Lebrec, 53, of Sunte Avenue, Lindfield, was fined £135, with £31.99 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to theft from a shop in Haywards Heath.

Joseph Smith, 19, of Glebe Road, Cuckfield, was fined £140, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £60 costs. He had pleaded guilty to using racially aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Crawley; using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause fear of violence in Haywards Heath; and breaching a conditional discharge.

Sean Lintin, 23, of Andover Road, Newbury, was banned from driving for 17 months, with a £110 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Handcross.

Kelly Edwards, 28, of Reed Close, Hassocks, was given a community order with £150 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to common assault, and causing criminal damage to a door. A restraining order was made, barring her from contacting the victim.

Bela Orosz, 62, of Capel Road, Rusper, was banned from driving for a year and three months, with a £150 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving on the A23 at Hickstead.

Elliott Bunn, 27, of Selby Close, Burgess Hill, was fined £247, with a £25 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding on the A23 at Hickstead.

Lance Gibson, 50, of Bolney Road, Ansty, was fined £230, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to using a mobile phone while driving in Haywards Heath, and driving without a licence.

Lee Martin, 36, of Chailey Road, Brighton, was given a one year conditional discharge, with £50 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to common assault in Burgess Hill.
