The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates, sitting at Crawley and Horsham from August 24 to September 4.

John Ward, 25, of Eastdale Road, Burgess Hill, was fined £110, with £235 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge, and £200 costs. He had been found guilty of causing criminal damage to a car.

Tom Bucknall, 24, of Orchard Way, Warninglid, was fined £200, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of speeding.

Brian Elliott, 42, of St Aubyns, Hove, was banned from driving for 32 months, given a community order with 200 hours of unpaid work, a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to driving while unfit through drink in Haywards Heath, and to breaching a conditional discharge.

Keith Henley, 47, of Palgrave Road, Bedford, was banned from driving for 16 months, with a £150 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Burgess Hill.

Lucy O’Connell, 35, of South Way, Lewes, was fined £135, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to speeding on the A23 at Bolney.

Soombul Rafique, 28, of Pineapple Road, Birmingham, was fined £167, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and five penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to speeding at East Grinstead.

Karen Anthony, 47, of Rydal Avenue, Fleetwood, was fined £600, with a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to her licence. She had been convicted in her absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding at Bolney.

Callum Maslen, 21, of Theobalds Road, Burgess Hill, was fined £300, with a £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at Bolney.

Lance Ravate, 26, of Magnolia Place, London, was fined £400, with a £40 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and four penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of speeding at Hickstead.

Chloe Tuite, 23, of Pilgrims Way, Sundridge, was fined £133, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to speeding at Bolney.

Andrew Jarrett, of Colemans Hatch, Hartfield, was fined £133, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding in Haywards Heath.

Christopher Fillery, 43, of no fixed address, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to stealing food and alcohol from a Marks and Spencer in Haywards Heath.

Avril Payne, 51, of Augustines Way, Haywards Heath, was given an 18 month conditional discharge, a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to assault.

Scott Wood, 41, of no fixed address, was given an 18 week jail sentence, suspended for two years, with a 44 month driving ban, 200 hours of unpaid work, £170 costs, and £2,929.80 compensation. He had pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, driving without due care and attention, failing to provide a urine sample, driving without insurance, and stealing money from a company account, all at Lindfield.

Betty Mazingaliwa, 61, of Bonehurst Road, Horley, was fined £73, with a £20 victim surcharge, £310 costs, and five penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention in Haywards Heath.

Clive Panto, 60, of Ditton Place, Balcombe, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to two counts of speeding.

Toby Powell, 24, of The Warren, Burgess Hill, was ordered to pay £150 compensation, with £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable in Crawley.

John Winchester, 59, of Blatchington Road, Hove, was fined £180, with a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis in Haywards Heath.

James Gibbs, 47, of Church Street, Cuckfield, was fined £230, with a £23 victim surcharge, and £600 costs. He had been found guilty of racially aggravated common assault.
