The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Jozsef Kasa, 35, of Highams Hill, Crawley, was banned from driving for 21 months, with a £140 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at Bolney.

William Bonney, 42, of Midway Quay, Eastbourne, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence of using a vehicle without an MoT certificate at Warninglid.

Benjamin Collier, 35, of Franklands Village, Haywards Heath, was banned from driving for six months, with a £660 fine, a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence of driving without insurance at Haywards Heath.

Juber Miah, 26, of Dumbrills Close, Burgess Hill, was banned from driving for six months, with a £220 fine, a £22 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had been convicted in his absence of driving without insurance, and driving with an expired licence at Wivelsfield Green.

Christopher Edmonds, 32, of Farriers Lea, Haywards Heath, was banned from driving for 17 months, with a £700 fine, a £70 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at Haywards Heath.

Paul Brett, 41, of Priory Way, Haywards Heath, was given a community order with 100 hours of unpaid work, £100 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £180 criminal courts charge, and a £160 fine. He had pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer, possessing a Class A drug (cocaine), and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

Nigel Dawes, 28, of Giffards Close, East Grinstead, was ordered to pay £250 compensation and £50 costs. He had pleaded guilty to causing cirminal damage to the entrance door of a restaurant in Crawley Down.

Margaret Moghaddas, 46, of Leylands Road, Burgess Hill, was banned from driving for two years, with a £1,200 fine, a £100 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to drink driving, failing to stop after an accident, driving without insurance, and driving without a licence.

Benjamin Williams, 23, of Stirling Court Road, Burgess Hill, was banned from driving for a year, with a £440 fine, a £44 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to driving with illegal levels of methylenedioxymethamphetamine (ecstasy) and benzoylecgonine (metabolised from cocaine) in his blood, and to possessing a Class B drug (cannabis).

Fouad Laouas, 48, of Goldstone Villas, Hove, was given a community order with 200 hours of unpaid work, £200 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge, and £620 costs. He had been found guilty of common assault in Hassocks.
