The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Aarom Zamalloa, 34, of Payton Drive, Burgess Hill, was banned from driving for 16 months, with a £120 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to failing to provide a breath alcohol specimen.

Chris Shelley, of Dumbrills Close, Burgess Hill, was fined £40, with £17.09 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Paul Smith, of Gower Road, Haywards Heath, was fined £660, with £64.17 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Matthew Jones, 34, of Sunnywood Drive, Haywards Heath, was banned from driving for 18 months, with a £120 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at Cuckfield.

Aston Garrett, 24, of Newton Road, Lindfield, was fined £200, with £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a Class A drug (cocaine) and to possessing a Class B drug (ketamine) in Burgess Hill.

Christopher O’Hara, 50, of Kearsney Avenue, Dover, was fined £370, with a £37 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to harassment in Scaynes Hill. A restraining order was made barring him from contacting the victim, or going to an address in Burgess Hill, or another address in Scaynes Hill.

Louis Smith, 21, of Gordon Road, Burgess Hill, was given a one year conditional discharge, with £250 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to a glass door panel, and to being drunk and disorderly in Burgess Hill.

Julie Allen, 55, of Tudor Close, East Grinstead, was banned from driving for 17 months, with a £180 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving at East Grinstead.

Anthony Peirson, 30, of Hollands Road, Henfield, was fined £200, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without insurance at Bolney, and to failing to answer bail.

Lucy Yoxen, 32, of Compton Road, Brighton, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Cuckfield. Court records say magistrates did not ban her from driving because they accepted her explanation that she had been escaping from a dangerous situation.
