The following are results contributed by HM Court Service, of cases sentenced by Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Toby Powell, 25, of The Warren, Burgess Hill, was banned from driving for a year, fined £240, with a £20 victim services surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to driving without a licence, driving without insurance, and drink driving, all in The Warren, Burgess Hill.

Shamen Blythe, 22, of Denham Road, Burgess Hill, was banned from driving for 18 months, with a £120 fine, a £30 victim services surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Haywards Heath.

Andrew O’Connor, 37, of London Road, Balcombe, was banned from driving for 22 months, with a £800 fine, a £48 victim services surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Crawley.

Julian Bardwell, 45, of Slaugham Lane, Warninglid, was fined £293, with a £29 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and five penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding on the A23.

Stuart Dyke, 36, of Sergison Close, Haywards Heath, was fined £220, with a £22 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted of speeding at Haywards Heath.

Mark Edmondson, 39, of Sussex Road, Haywards Heath, was fined £440, with a £44 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding on the A23 near Warninglid.

Lewis Harvey, 22, of no fixed address, was given a one year conditional discharge, with £100 compensation, a £15 victim services surcharge, and £400 costs. He had pleaded guilty to common assault; causing criminal damage to a kitchen unit; resisting a police officer; and causing criminal damage to a door and a car, all in Burgess Hill.

Amit Paul, 25, of Aspen Close, Haywards Heath, was fined £660, with a £66 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted of driving without insurance in Haywards Heath.

Richard Graham, 33, of Franklands Village, Haywards Heath, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £40 victim services surcharge, £335 costs, a £130 fine. He had pleaded guilty to common assault and possessing a Class B drug (cannabis), and admitted breaching a conditional discharge.

Glen Lamplough, 41, of Junction Close, Burgess Hill, was fined £500, with £150 compensation, a £50 victim services surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to common assault in Burgess Hill.

James Fitzgerald, 27, of Cissbury Road, Burgess Hill, was given a community order with a 16 week curfew, a £60 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and a £50 fine. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a bladed or pointed object in Crawley, and admitted breaching a suspended sentence.

Ross Stoner, 26, of St Peters Road, Burgess Hill, was given a 14 week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, with £100 compensation, an £80 victim services surcharge, a £100 fine, £350 costs, and £544.06 compensation. He had pleaded guilty to common assault and causing criminal damage to a car, and admitted breaching a conditional discharge.
