Man pleads guilty to Burgess Hill assault

A man charged over a serious assault of a man in Burgess Hill has pleaded guilty to two charges.

Benjamin Watkinson, 22, of Stanford Road, Brighton, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Hove Crown Court, a Crown Prosecution Service spokesman has said.

He is due to be sentenced on November 20.

Similar charges against Alfie Robinson, 22, of Burgess Hill, have been withdrawn, the CPS said.
