A man with links to the Mid Sussex area who was wanted for recall to prison has been arrested, police have said.

Jerome Anicet was released in June this year part way through a five-and-a-half month sentence for common assault, Sussex Police said.

The 31-year-old was wanted by the Probation Service for return to prison having breached the terms of his release licence.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said Anicet had been arrested and recalled to prison.
