The emergency services treated families to free educational entertainment during a fun day at the weekend.
Sussex Police, South East Coast Ambulance and West Sussex Fire and Rescue hosted a 999 funday at the Worlds End Recreation Ground on Saturday afternoon.
Visitors enjoyed emergency services’ displays, police horse drilling, search dogs in action and children were kept busy at Ridley’s funfair
Activities were held by Sussex County Cricket Club, Burgess Hill Rugby Club and Places for People Leisure teams.
Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner, Katy Bourne, attended as part of her ‘Talk Sussex’ engagement programme which is an opportunity for residents to have their say in local policing and crime priorities.
