Fuel worth £600 stolen in Burgess Hill

Fuel thieves have targeted lorries parked over night in Burgess Hill.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Six lorries in Victoria Road, Burgess Hill, had diesel fuel worth £600 stolen from them sometime between midnight on Saturday (January 18) and 7am on Monday (January 19).

“The lorries are using to carry street lighting columns.”

Anyone who witnessed the theft or has any information is asked to call police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 0208 of 19/01.
