Queen’s birthday picnic: Haywards Heath Town Council is hosting a picnic to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday during the official week of celebrations, with a sporting theme to promote health and wellbeing in the community.

The event will be held in Beech Hurst Gardens between 12pm and 4pm on Sunday 12th June 2016 and comprise of a picnic where residents are welcome to come along and sit with their food and drink and enjoy the gardens. As a focal point for the day there will be sports taster sessions for all the family to enjoy. On a designated stage there will be dance and fitness fun where you are welcome to join in and in the formal cut area of Beech Hurst local sports clubs will holding demonstrations, which you are again welcome to join in with.

All of the activities will be free of cost so all you need to do is pack your picnic and come along and join in the fun. So please come along and celebrate her majesty’s birthday and see what fun and healthy activities you can join in with.’
