Haywards Heath Police appeal after chainsaws stolen

Police are calling for witnesses to a theft of chainsaws from a van.

Haywards Heath Police has posted a message on Facebook saying: “Sometime between 8.30am and 3pm Wednesday 12th August two Husqvana chainsaws were stolen from the rear of a van, the window was smashed.

“The van was parked in a lay-by near to Gravetye Manor Hotel and Restaurant, Vowels Lane East Grinstead. This was whilst forestry work for the manor was being carried out in the woods. The chainsaw models were Husqvana 550XP and Husqvana 357XP both worth approximately £500 each.
