The Twinning Association has been in existence in Haywards Heath for 20 years.

The town is twinned with Bondues in France, about 6 miles from Lille, as well as Traunstein in Germany, some 23 miles from Salzburg.

The Association’s secretary Judith Bone says: “We have built up some very strong links over the years especially with local schools.

“We are holding our general AGM on Friday 28th March at 7.30 in the Town Hall in Boltro Road.

“If you would like to know more about what we do, please come along, we have some guests from Bondues with us, there will also be drinks and light refreshments, so it is not all talk.

“Get to know more about us and meet some of our French friends.

“They do speak English.”
