Burgess Hill District Lions presented a defibrillator to The Kings Church in Burgess Hill on Thursday.

This is the 13th defibrillator presented in the region by the Lions and will be available to 100 businesses in Victoria Business Park.

Senior pastor Jim Partridge said: “We are truly grateful to the Burgess Hill District Lions for the kind donation of the defibrillator.

“With so many coming through the building and out relationship with the business park it will be a great resource to serve the community.”

Secretary Tony Parris said: “They’re scattered around now, and they may never be used at all, but if they’re even used once then it saves a life so it’s all worthwhile.”

He estimates that the defibrillator covers a footfall of over 1000 adults and 600 children.
