An application to demolish stables and build seven homes, has been permitted.

The plan for the site adjacent to Deak’s Lane, Ansty, was discussed in Mid Sussex District Council’s planning committee meeting in July.

The application received objections from residents and the parish council.

Cllr Pete Bradbury, the ward member, said the application was not appropriate for a ‘rural area’ or country lane and it would involve the loss vegetation.

Planning officer Steve King said whilst some planting would be removed for the new access there would also be some replacement planting.
