Life saving kidney transplant inspires Burgess Hill fund raising

Friends who ‘wouldn’t be alive’ if it wasn’t for a vital organ transplants are fund raising for charity.

Sarah Jones, 42, from Burgess Hill, is an advocate for charity Live Life Give Life, which promotes the need for transplantation and raises funds for its research.

With friends Laura Penfold and Kate Foster, who also had a life saving organ donation, she is raising funds for the charity.

To mark anniversaries of the donations they are hosting Love Lives On In Us Anniversary Party at Mid Sussex Golf Club, Ditchling on March 21.

Manchester United have donated a signed football for a silent auction this and next Saturday (March 7 and 14) at The Market Place, Burgess Hill, where tickets will be sold for Love Lives On In Us.

This Saturday (March 7) features surprise guests at 11am and 12pm.

Love Lives On In Us will feature a raffle, with prizes including theatre tickets, football tickets, restaurant meals and beauty salon treatment.
