CELEBRATING THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE COUNTRY MARKET: On 9th July from 10-11.30 am at the King Edward Hall customers will receive a free glass of Bucks Fizz and a slice of cake to celebrate this special anniversary. Usual stalls. Do join us-it’s TODAY! Please note longer opening times.

CIVIC AMENITY FREIGHTERS: The Civic Amenity Freighters will be in the Tollgate Car Park on Sunday 12th July from 10am- 12 noon for the collection of household and garden waste. Please do not leave rubbish in the absence of the freighters.

LINDFIELD HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY SUMMER SHOW: The King Edward Hall will host this popular show on the 11th July from 2-4.45 pm. Home- made cakes and coffee/tea will be on offer. There will also be a sale of plants. Entry £1 adults. Children free.(Enquiries tel: 456509)

THE ADVENTURERS’ ART CLUB: The annual exhibition will take place from 25th July – 2nd August in the King Edward Hall from 10am-7pm.Admission 50p for adults.

MID-SUSSEX DISTRICT COUNCILS: Pre-submission of District Plan. Deadline for comments is the 24th July.This can be seen at Haywards Heath Library/at Lindfield Parish Office during opening hours/on the MSDC website.

CELEBRATING LINDFIELD ARTS FESTIVAL: There will be art, crafts, drama, literature, music, comedy and poetry.Of special interest will be the Community Promenade Plays. This annual event will be held from 18-20th September. Go to www.lindfieldartsfestival.com for more information.
