Country Market as usual on 10th September. Come and have a “cuppa” while you look at everything on offer. Starting to think about Xmas presents? You will find items to buy at the market to get you off to an early start!

Saturday 12th September. King Edward Hall from 2-4.45pm. Lindfield Horticultural Society Autumn Show. Why not come and admire the many items of fresh produce entered? The largest pumpkin will be HUGE! You can enjoy tea/coffee and cake all afternoon. Only £1 entry fee. (Children free.) There will be lots of plants on sale too.

Reminder. On Sunday 13th September the Refuse Freighters will be at the Tollgate Carpark from 10-12.Only household and garden waste please and do not leave anything in the absence of the freighters.

Special service at All Saints Church on Sunday 13th September at 11.15am to celebrate the Queen’s long reign. The service is called “Long to reign over us” and will last 1 hour. All welcome.

Lindfield Arts Festival. Not long to go now till the weekend of 18th-20th September. Here are a few more pointers for you. There will be 2 guided walks around the village, one on Saturday 19th and one on Sunday 20th. The first will last 2 hours from 14.30-16.30 and the second one hour from 14.30-15.30. Meet outside Lindfield Medical Centre. The walks are being organised by the Lindfield History Project Group and the leaders will tell you about the history of the village as you walk. On Saturday and Sunday there are several events at Lindfield Primary School in the Community Hall. On Saturday from 14.30-15.30 Point 4 Lara Marshall and Sally Ann Hayes will hold a Drama and Dance Workshop for 5-10 year olds .From 15.30-16.30 they will hold another Workshop for 10-14 year olds. On the Sunday Dance 2 Tone with Becky Stevens will do Fitsteps for adults from 11.00-12.00. Fitness that’s fun! From 13.00-14.00 Becky will do Popsteps for children to learn fun and funky dance moves. 14.00-15.00 Esther Featherstone will introduce you to Swoove. This is the newest dance fitness class that burns more calories by singing, whooping and moving. Best not to have a huge Sunday lunch prior to this!
