Village Annual Spring Clean: Please turn up at the King Edward Hall on Saturday 16th April to help others spruce up our lovely village. 9.30am-1pm. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Bring gloves. Everything else you need will be provided at the Hall. Children wishing to help must be supervised. There is a free ploughman’s lunch for all participants. Wheelbarrows welcome!
Lindfield Preservation Society: AGM and Talk. An illustrated talk: “Gongoozling for Beginners” by Neil Sadler will be at 8pm on Wednesday 20th April in the King Edward Hall. Life on the English canals and what happens when things don’t go exactly to plan! This is a light-hearted journey around some of the 2000 miles of navigable waterways. Lindfield Country Market: Thursday 21st April from 10-11.15 in the King Edward Hall. The Market Manager would like your comments on the cakes, savouries and other merchandise. Come along, shop and share your thoughts.
Film Show Evening: Thursday 21st April at 7.30 for 7.45pm in the King Edward Hall. The film is “Brooklyn” and tickets are on sale at Tufnells for £6 or at the door if there are any left. Interval refreshments are included in the ticket price.
Lindfield Arts Festival: This is now in its 7th year. The High Street will be closed on Saturday 17th September and even more events will be taking place than last year. A street play will again be performed and actors are needed! This may seem a long way off but you need to rehearse before the day(s) so it is not too early to apply. Bands, singers and buskers are also needed. The festival runs from16th-18th September and will be based in and around the High Street.
