Students from St Paul Catholic College have hosted a 24-hour football tournament to raise funds in memory of a former student who died from cancer.

Thirty friends took part in the event last weekend and raised more than £1,000 for The Teenage Cancer Trust.

It was held in memory of the college’s former pupil Angus Rowland, who died from cancer in 2011.
