A huge bucket full of cash is washed up by garage’s car cleaning efforts

Forecourt worker Mani Arumugam (pictured) and his colleagues at the BP garage and Spar shop on the A272 in Scaynes Hill recently broke all records.
They raised £1,530 in a single day by donating car wash tokens to customers in return for donations to Cancer Research.
The garage, which holds its car wash day on February 13 every year, also sold raffle tickets for a £50 hamper, donated by Spar.
Mid Sussex Times sales manager Sacha Wilson helped by printing forecourt and shop signs and brothers Jay and Gunvant Patel, who own the garage and Spar businesses, thanked all for a chilly but brilliant day.
