Sussex Police are appealing for further witnesses after the fatal accident between Turners Hill and East Grinstead last week.

A man died after the collision at 6.50am on Wednesday morning (March 13) on Turners Hill Road.

Sussex Police say one vehicle, a white Ford Transit van, was involved.

The accident happened when the van left the road and collided with a tree.

A 40-year-old man from Turners Hill was taken to East Surrey Hospital but died later that evening from his injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, who has not yet spoken to police, to get in touch on 101 quoting Operation Japan or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk
