POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses after last month’s break-in at ‘About The Girl’ lingerie and swimwear shop in Wivelsfied Road, Haywards Heath.

About £5,000 worth of stock was taken from the shop, which is run by Amy Bath who was treated for breast cancer.

Amy designs sexy and feminine lingerie for women who have undergone surgery for breast cancer and was devastated by the break-in, which occurred sometime between 7.30pm and 10.45pm on Sunday, January 29.

Police would like to hear from anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident.

Please call 101 quoting serial 1518 of 29/1 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

You can read more about the break-in and Amy’s shop in the Mid Sussex Times, which came out on February 2.
