Application for speed reduction on Rocky Lane

editorial image

An application has been made to West Sussex County Council for Rocky Lane’s speed limit to be reduced.

Part of the road is already 30 mph but becomes 60 mph as it leaves Haywards Heath.

The proposal is to extend the present 30 mph speed limit westwards to a point 153 metres west of the junction of the new Sandrocks residential development. It also includes the installation of a pedestrian crossing.

The documents are available at Haywards Heath Library in Boltro Road. Any comments or objections must be received before March 14, 2013. These can be emailed to tro.team@westsussex.gov.uk or in writing to TRO Team, West Sussex County Council, The Grange, Tower Street, Chichester, PO19 1RH. For legal reasons, you should include your full name and address.
