Arsonist attacks flat
A firework arsonist set fire to a flat in Burgess Hill.
A woman was taken to hospital after the blaze at Albion Court, School Close.
Two Burgess Hill fire and rescue crews went to the scene just before 8pm last night (Thursday).
They found there had been a small fire in the ground floor flat, which was slightly smoke logged.
The fire was out when the crew arrived and the incident was left with polcie for investigation.
The fire service said the fire had been caused caused by a firework being put through a through letterbox and the incident was what they called "deliberate ignition".
