A torch lit procession and church service will take place in commemoration of the WWI centenary tonight (August 4).
The service of remembrance at St Wilfrids Church will take place at 7.30pm. It will include readings and poems.
The procession will start from Muster Green at 8.15pm and make its way to Victoria Park for 8.45pm and a beacon will be lit at 9.45pm.
Free tickets are available for the church service from Balwins Drapers, in South Road.
