Cuckfield plan meeting on Saturday

The Draft Cuckfield Neighbourhood Plan is now out for public consultation until March 30 with an exhibition about it this Saturday morning.

The plan is sponsored by Cuckfield Parish Council and developed by the parish and community volunteers and will help guide the development of the village and its surrounds over a 20 year period.

The draft plan is available to view online alongside the evidence at www.cuckfieldplan.com/draftplan.

The parish council wants comments about the plan and its associated documents, which must be submitted in writing, either by email to info@cuckfieldplan.com or by post to Cuckfield Parish Council, The Queen’s Hall, High Street, Cuckfield, West Sussex, RH17 5EL.

The parish council held an open sessions yesterday (Wednesday) evening for people to talk to those who helped create the draft plan, and for them to give feedback.

The second open session is on Saturday (March 1) in the Queen’s Hall from 10am to 12noon.

The draft plan has been developed using the responses gathered during the Issues and Options Consultation last year and the supporting documentation that contains evidence on a variety of factors that are important to Cuckfield including future housing needs including types of housing, business and retail.
