Date set for final stage

Developer Crest Nicholson has announced that works on the final stage of the Haywards Heath relief road will start in Spring/summer 2013.

This stage, between the southern Bolnore Village roundabout, the railway bridge and Rocky Lane, is due to be completed in summer 2015 and they say will divert 8,000,000 cars away from the town centre.

Tim Haines, technical executive at Crest Nicholson, said: “We hope it will be completed ahead of schedule dependent upon technical approvals from West Sussex County Council and Network Rail.”
