A charity shop in Haywards Heath has called on residents to donate their unwanted goods.
St Peter & St James Hospice charity shop, in The Martlets Shopping Centre, is a registered charity which provides specialist hospice services, care and support, to those with progressive and life-limiting illnesses in Sussex.
Ian Goodridge, the shopping centre manager, said: “St Peter & St James Hospice is an amazing local charity and its shop, in our centre, relies on the generosity of the local community donating good quality items.
“People sometimes forget about charity shops, when disposing of their unwanted or unused belongings, even though the money that can be generated from re-selling those items goes to incredibly worthy causes.
“We would therefore like to remind people to donate their items to the hospice charity shop. Charity shops also provide a great opportunity to pick up a second hand bargain whilst giving to a charity.”
