East Grinstead woman injured in Plumpton collision

The B2116 at Plumpton was closed for around two hours yesterday afternoon (Tuesday June 10) following a collision between two cars near to the agricultural college.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 2.08pm.

The roof of one of the cars was removed by firefighters in order that the driver, a 72-year old East Grinstead woman with suspected neck injuries, could be released.

She was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, but her injuries are not thought to be serious.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call Sussex Police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.ukquoting serial 844 of 10/06.
