EASTENDERS star Shane Richie appeared at the Savannah bar in Haywards Heath last night.

Shane, who plays Alfie Moon in the soap, made an appearance at the bar on the Broadway with band The Prelude.

The event was so popular Savannah had to limit entry to the bar for Savannah card holders only.

Band member, Phil Woods, who appeared alongside Shane, posted on the events Facebook wall: “We had a cracking night with a brilliant crowd. You were all in fine voice. Will see you again no doubt.”

Shane has appeared in hit TV Series Minder, Skins, French and Saunders, Noel’s House Party and Grange Hill.

Shane Richie shot up the charts in 2003 when he recorded ‘I’m Your Man’ for Children in Need.

He appeared with The Prelude for a gig at the Gatwick Arms in Horley last year.
