An ex-paratrooper has helped to raise more than £40,000 by taking part in a group parachute event.
Brian Pate, of Hassocks, an ex-paratrooper and chairman of the Surrey and Sussex Parachute Regimental Association, took part in the celebration of the The Queen Alexandra Hospital & Home’s 95th anniversary.
More than 60 people took part by doing a parachute jump over the weekend of August 2. Brian raised more than £2,000 through his jump.
