Famous duo plan to have lots of fun

Cameras will be whirring at a Fernhurst auction room on Wednesday, December 10.

The BBC will be at John Nicholson's sales premises to film Cash in the Attic with guest stars Jean Boht, famous for her role as Nellie Boswell in BBC comedy Bread, and Edwina Currie, former Tory junior health minister, famous for the egg salmonella scandal and her affair with John Major, who is now a broadcaster and author.

Items being auctioned include a doctor's Gladstone bag, silver, a Victorian writing slope, Victorian chairs, Meissen, Copenhagen china and works of Shakespeare.

More than 100 lots of jewellery are also to be auctioned.

Visitors are welcome to watch Cash in the Attic being filmed.

Auction items can be viewed tomorrow (Friday, December 5) between 10am and 5pm, on Saturday and Sunday, 10am-4pm, and Monday and Tuesday, 10am-5pm.
