Fire crews called to flat fire

Two crews responded to a call about a fire at a flat in Burgess Hill last evening.

They were both from Burgess Hill and found on arrival that a small fire from cooking on a kitchen hob was already out.

The fire at Keymer Court is believed to have been caused by accident.

The crews inspected the kitchen to make sure it was safe before leaving.

No-one was injured in the incident.
