Foodbank thanks shoppers for much-needed donations

Haywards Heath Foodbank volunteers Barbara Hayda, Mary Todman and Gerry Burgess, pictured with Mayor John Sabin, asked Co-Op shoppers in South Road if they would like to donate an item to help people in crisis.

On the day they received 480kgs of food supplies. In the nine months since it open the foodbank in Sussex Road has helped more than 780 people, providing more than 7,000 meals.
