A weather-hit football team is reaching for the record books as it tries for the sixth time to play a cup match.

Haywards Heath ladies have had their league Cup match against local rivals Wivelsfield called off five times during the period of snow and rain.

They are hoping to complete the tie at Hanbury Park, Haywards Heath on Sunday if the rain-soaked ground of Haywards Heath FC dries out enough.
