Former Stead and Simpson shop being prepared for Cafe Nero

Work is under way to bring a new business to Burgess Hill. As our picture shows the former Stead and Simpson shop is being converted to a coffee shop.

Café Nero is expected to open soon at its site on the approach to the Market Place shopping centre.

In another change the former Bright FM studio at the Market Place has closed, but centre organisers say that it has attracted some interest from people who might rent it.
