Free health checks in Mid Sussex
No Caption ABCDE
People in Mid Sussex are being offered free health checks from this Friday.
February is National Heart Month - a British Heart Foundation initiative that aims to raise awareness about the importance of looking after your heart.
The Mid Sussex Wellbeing team is supporting the campaign by offering free MOTs at The Triangle and The Dolphin leisure centres run by Freedom Leisure.
Your height and weight measurements will be taken and you will be asked simple questions about your lifestyle.
Everyone who takes part will receive a computerised print-out that shows all the results, including Body Mass Index, metabolic age and the percentage of body fat.
After the check, there will be an opportunity to discuss the results with a trained health adviser, who will provide personalised advice on how to lower the risk of future problems and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Wellbeing MOTs are available at: The Triangle leisure centre, Burgess Hill on Friday, February 15 between 2pm and 6pm
The Dolphin leisure centre, Haywards Heath on Monday, February 25 between 1 and 5pm.
