The Gatwick Airport Your Service Centre, in partnership with Skybreak, have collected 85 Easter eggs to give to vulnerable and struggling families being supported by the Crawley charity Home-Start.

In two weeks, passengers dropped off donations at the company’s desks in both the North and South Terminals.

Lecia Taylor, services, sales and standards director at Your Service Centre, said: “Our team at the airport are dedicated to supporting their chosen local charity and we wanted to use our location to raise awareness and encourage donations from the thousands of passengers travelling through Gatwick.”

Home-Start fundraising and marketing manager Jacquie Thomas said: “As a small local charity we rely on support from our community.

“These eggs will be a real treat for the vulnerable young children we support across Crawley, Horsham and Mid-Sussex.

“We are grateful for the support of Your Service Centre and everyone who donated.”
