Give a cat a home this Valentine’s Day

Cats Protection’s national cat adoption centre is holding a Lonely Hearts afternoon in a bid to rehome some of its 130 cats.

Staff at the centre, in Chelwood Gate, Haywards Heath, will be handing out chocolate hearts and pink lemonade in the hope they’ll be able to find new owners for the cats.

Manager Danielle Draper said: “We have some really lovely cats in our care who have so much love, companionship and energy to give to the right owner.

“Our Lonely Hearts afternoon will be a fun way of highlighting just how many cats are in need of new homes, and we hope many will find loving owners.”

The free event is on Saturday, February 16 from 12pm until 4pm. For more information call 01875741330 or visit www.cats.org.uk
