Great British Bake Off star Cathryn Dresser visited Knowles Tooth in Hurstpierpoint to discuss working with Family Support Work charity on several fundrasing events.

Cathryn, who lives in Crawley, reached the quarter finals of the BBC show.

She has since opened her own bakery stall at Horsham Market with fellow contestant Sarah Jane Willis.

Cathryn plans to work with FSW on a variety of events, including baking at Knowles Tooth Children’s Centre and overseeing the desert course for a cooking competition to be held in 2013 at The Amex Stadium.

The winner of the show, judged by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, was John Whaite, a law student from Manchester. He beat off stiff competition from Brendan Lynch and favourite James Morton to win the title.
