Hassocks school presented with plate to mark twinning

A COMMEMORATIVE plate from the Community of Wald-Michelbach, the German town twinned with Hassocks, has been presented to Downlands Community School.

The presentation follows a successful twinning weekend when many of the Hassocks secondary school pupils hosted teenagers from France and Germany.

The Wald-Michelbach Twinning Association commissioned the plate to commemorate the event.

A forthcoming trip to Montmirail in France is planned from April 30 to May 4.
