Headless body riddle in chilling attack at Haywards Heath

Headless body at Muster Green.

Headless body at Muster Green.

The mystery of the headless body of Muster Green at Haywards Heath is puzzling people.

But no arrests are likely in the search for the perpetrator of the chilling attack.

The “victim” is a once-impressive snowman that hundreds of people have admired reclining on a bench near the A272.

This morning is was discovered the figure’s head had been removed, and the weather was too cold for the man to be thawing.

Fortunately the Middy captured the whole snowman in a picture earlier this week and he features in our snowpicture special in this Thursday’s edition, which also includes a picture of possibly the biggest snowman seen in Sussex this winter.
