Oathall College has achieved its best ever GCSE results in the number of students achieving or more A*-C including English and maths.
In mathematics, students have eclipsed previous high standards with 80% achieving A*-C and 92% of students achieved A*-C in English literature.
More than half of all grades awarded were B or higher and nearly a quarter of all grades were at A or A*.
39% of students taking Geography achieved A or A*, in Biology, Chemistry and Physics 52% of grades were at A or A*.
In addition, 50% achieved at this highest level in PE.
Students excelled in modern languages with 82% achieving A* to C in German and 75% of grades across all languages being at this standard.
93% of grades in Photography were C or above and 84% achieved A*-C in Drama.
85% achieved A* to C in Further Mathematics - a course designed to challenge the most gifted mathematicians.
11% of the year group achieved eight or more passes with grades at A and A*.

“The support from their teachers and parents has been critical to their success I am so pleased to see that all their efforts have been rewarded. It is particularly pleasing to see the trend of improving results continuing at the college.”
