BUDDING authors from Hassocks have produced a book packed with stories after they allowed their imaginations to run free at an after school creative writing course.

Amanda Di Clemente, who ran the workshop, said: “I think their hard work and dedication is tremendous and the resulting published book is very special and unique to this area.”

Amanda plans to hold more creative writing courses for pupils aged 6 to eleven at Windmills Junior School and at her tea shop, ‘Betty Blues’ in the centre of Hassocks.

Amanda said: “I hope to make this local publication an ever growing annual event and to encourage more children to write and explore their imaginations.”
